The Becoming Better Together Program is a bespoke program designed to create a culture of belonging and respect through vital, authentic and brave discussions about diversity, equity & inclusion.
The program was created by Shantelle Thompson, Gemma Saunders and Lilian Kikuvi, also known as the Becoming Better Together Collective.
We believe that once we know ourselves, our contexts and each other better, we can do better, together in a culture-first decade!
The Collective's vision is becoming better, together. By partnering together with Shantelle, Lilian & Gemma, your organisation will open up a vital and action-oriented discussion about diversity, equity and inclusion that will promote culture-first thinking. At the heart of the program is equipping people to know themselves and others better. This unique offering;
Our promise to create belonging and promote culture-first thinking transcends across our 3 offerings. This means:
-We will understand your baseline. Where are you people at? What do they feel, know, do, experience, want, expect and understand?
- We will co-design a solution based on our successful program framework.
- We will deliver a 3 -part bespoke offering that will ignite culture-first thinking based on Indigenous, Queer and African cultures.
- We will generate organisational and individual action planning that sparks accountability.
- We will offer a bespoke workbook/toolkit that supports culture-first action and keeps the fire burning.
- We will evaluate the experience and the impact.
Engaging your people in an all-staff, 90 minute virtual starter event to kick start the work.
Ideal for teams and crews of 10 - 50 people who are looking for a deeper experience over half a day.
Perfect as a standalone program or integrated into existing leadership programs with a focus on leading with heart-set, empathy, curiosity, courage and social accountability.
